'Trauma-informed'?
What's an 'Ethical Production Lead'?
We're building Human Centric Media by continuously investing in the the relationship with our subjectsrather than technical complexity, longer scripts or larger crews.
Nikki, our Ethical Production Lead, utilizes twelve years of social work experience to hold intentional, empathetic space for our subjects' concerns, helping us design a production that is responsive to them.
Authenticity
We believe that genuine expression is the most powerful way to build lasting trust and engage audiences.
Dream Big
We help our clients pursue their mission, grow their capacity and step into earned leadership in their communities.
Decolonizing Media
Everything we make seeks to dismantle harmful power structures like white supremacy and misogyny.
Reverence for Subjects
Engaging media is about rapport: we show our subjects respect and curiosity, and let them lead the experience.
Body Autonomy
Your body, its operation, your boundaries and experience in it, are yours and yours alone.
Community Wellbeing
All of us would benefit from a compassionate society that provides food water and shelter to everyone, free of charge.
Your Story is More Powerful than Anything We Could Script
We don't need to put words in your mouth, or make you into anything that you're not.
Ongoing Consent
The subjects' needs, comfort and reflections will be honored and checked-in with throughout the production experience.
